A trip to Sydenham Hill Wood

Yesterday afternoon I had a wander over to Sydenham Hill Wood, somewhere I’d never been. These ruins date back to around 1866, and were deliberately built as ruins, though it’s surmised that there was once a roof too. Maps of the wood refer to them as the ‘folly’.
